EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Through the activities within EducaTIFF, children expand their cinematic culture and media literacy skills – the ability to analyze a media product and express their point of view on it. 

Furthermore, EducaTIFF supports the formation of an important community of advocates for the implementation of film education in the Romanian education system.

Let’s Go Digital! (LGD) is a film workshop for teenagers aged 14 to 18 from across the country who are passionate about film and photography. Created in 2005, LGD quickly became one of the most popular projects of the Transilvania International Film Festival, aiming to promote film education among teenagers and to discover new talents. 

For 10 days, participants get an inside look at the world of film, intensively going through all the stages of filmmaking. They are guided by professionals from Romanian cinema, work with professional filming equipment, have access to all festival events, and meet guests from the film industry."
