"The Treasure" by Corneliu Porumboiu, in the park at Vlaha
Transilvania IFF prepared a special event in the middle of nature, on Tuesday, June 2, including a long-awaited film, The Treasure by Corneliu Porumboiu.
From 6pm, a visit of the Arkhai Sculpture Park (442 Principal Street) will be organized. The park is famous for its sculptures made out of hay. From 9.45pm, the main screening starts. The Treasure is the winner of the new Un Certain Talent prize at Cannes, one week ago. Entrance is 5 ron and tickets can be purchased online from www.biletmaster.ro. The park was conceived by the local visual artist Ernő Bartha in 2008. He will also present his experimental short TV Mania, before the main screening, and an exhibition with the same title.
