Winner of the 10 Pentru Film award at TIFF at the Young Actor HOP Gala in 2023, Radu Fărcane completed his bachelor’s studies at the Faculty of Theatre and Film, part of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, and pursued a master’s degree at arthaus.berlin ITR Centre for Devised Theatre and Performance via Rose Bruford College, London.

He sings, plays the piano, guitar, and drums, and has performed at Untold Festival in 2016, Electric Castle in 2021, Jazz in the Street (2014-2015), and Jazz in the Park (2015-2016). He plays basketball, volleyball, table tennis, football, and enjoys juggling and unicycling.

He was a performer for Cirque du Soleil and Stage Entertainment in the Blueman Group show at Astor Place Theater, New York, Briar Street Theater, Chicago, and Bluemax Theater, Berlin.

Between 2022 and 2024, he performed in the show În Aer, adapted from texts by Eric Bogosian, Paul Tonca, and Radu Fărcane, directed by Sinko Ferenc and Filip Odangiu, and currently plays in Rușii nu zâmbesc, based on a text by Ioana Dajbog, directed by Diana Mihalașcu, at Teatrul Apropo in Bucharest.

In cinema, he had a special appearance in R.M.N., directed by Cristian Mungiu, and acted in the short film Adversar, directed by Dragoș Bucătaru-Rareș.
