Silvana Negruțiu is a graduate of UNATC, Department of Actor’s Art, class of prof. univ. dr. Florin Zamfirescu – bachelor degree and prof. univ. dr. Gelu Colceag – master degree. 

Since 2010, she has collaborated with almost all the state theaters in Bucharest, but also with numerous independent theaters. She always tried to maintain a balance between the projects of the state theater and the independent one. She is currently an employee of the L.S. Theater. Bulandra. Between 2017 and 2022 she was also part of the Replika Educational Theater Center team. 

Among the directors she worked with are Andrei Șerban, Radu Apostol, Catinca Drăgănescu, Cristian Ban, TheodorCristian Popescu. Currently you can see her in numerous shows at the Bulandra Theater (Furtuna, Car(o)usel, Platonov, Obiceiuri necurate), in Părinți at the Metropolis Theatre, DISCO ’89: Cele 7 morți ale Mihaelei Runceanu at Apollo111 or Nostalgia Up&Down at Replika . 

In 2022, she was nominated for the UNITER Awards for her roles in DISCO ‘89: Cele 7 morți ale Mihaelei Runceanu (text and direction by Catinca Drăgănescu). She also has some basic studies in music, and from 2023 she joined the Jazz Roots Bucharest community, enthusiastically taking Lindy Hop classes.
